| Kvisterø Fjordcamping is situated about 260km north of Trondheim in the province Nord-Trøndelag near the village Kolvereid at the Foldafjord. Amongst log cabins in different sizes we offer you a large-scaled camping site for caravans, campers or tent. Children always have a great time on our large-scale playing meadows. |

| Our comfortable cabins - for 2 up to 6 persons - are all equipped with shower, WC, refrigerator, cooking place, dishes and most of them with a freezer, too. It goes without saying that all our cabins can be heated. To our camping guests we offer separate cabins with sanitary equipment, showers, washing machines and freezers. |

In the reception you will find a large, cosy lounge with wireless internet access, telephone and roofed terrace. |

The Foldafjord with its many different kinds of fish is a paradise for fishermen. During the whole year, rich hauls of cod, haddock, coalfish, pollack, Whiting, mackerel, herring and ling are possible. With some luck you may also catch a halibut or a catfish. At the beginning of April many very big codfish make their way from the Bering sea into the Foldafjord to spawn there. All this time it is no rareness to catch colossal cods weighing more than 25 pounds.
For your fishing trips you can rent boats with outboard motors. In the harbour adjacent to the camping site you will find enough landing places for hired fishing boats or such you brought along with yourself as well as a roofed place for cleaning and preparing the caught fish. If you would like to smoke your fish, you will find a smoking stove there, too. |

| On your walks throughout the wooded neighbourhood you might possibly meet moose, reindeer, lynx, otter, mink, fish eagle and many more interesting birds and mammals. Not so far away, some of the very rare white head sea eagles have their eyrie and from time to time a group of dolphins or whales visit the Foldafjord. A trip to the near city of Rørvik surely is as worthwhile as an excursion to Namsos with its phenomenal mountain bath (Oasen). |

We have seven 16 foot boats with 10-15 HP outboard motors - that you can rent.
Kvisterø Fjordcamping
 There are no problems in getting to Kvisterø Fjordcamping. You can fly direct to Trondheim Airport - and from Trondheim you can take a flight direct to Rørvik. Rørvik is located very near at Kvisterø Fjordcamping - and once you arrive at Rørvik Airport - we can pick you up - please contact us for more information.
